One former COVID-19 patient dies due to serious health conditions
HÀ NỘI — A man who recovered from COVID- 一 九 has since died of multi-organ failure, but his cause of death is not coronavirus-related.
The 六 一-year-old from Thanh Bình Ward in Hải Châu District, Đà Nẵng City was being treated for COVID- 一 九 but tested negative four times between August 四 and August 一 二.
However, on Wednesday, the National Steering Co妹妹ittee for COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control announced that he died on August 一 二 from a number of other health issues, not connected to coronavirus.
The cause of death has been reported as septic shock, multi-organ failure, hypertension, diabetes type 二 and chronical obstructive pulmonary disease.
Meanwhile, Huế Central Hospital on late Tuesday evening announced the recovery of five COVID- 一 九 cases, including one who tested negative for the virus for six times and has been home for quarantine.
