“The subject of this report, THE UNITED NATIONS: A MOST SOPHISTICATED COVEN is the first in a mini-series of reports which call society and church to upright and responsible resistance to the United Nations. The historic Christian consensus which laid the basis for western civilization hangs imperiled at the very edge of the precipice of global, socialistic tyranny.”

Flag Burning

On July 4, 1995, a group of Milwaukee pastors and veterans decided to demonstrate their indignation by publicly burning the UN flag. The event made national as well as local news as television commentators testified to the increasing ground swell of anti-UN sentiment being aroused throughout this country. The event touched off another ground swell. There is the desire in many throughout the nation who, upon hearing of the burning, have decided that they would like to duplicate the event in their areas on October 24, 1995, which is the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.

Before proceeding, however, one must ask some questions. What does the United Nations really represent? Is it the world's one true hope for lasting peace or is it the beginning of a new global tyranny which, according to the sentiments of former UNESCO head, Luther Evans, was designed to eliminate "traditional barriers" of family, church, and national sovereignty?

What these pastors - and the veterans who were with them - recognized and showed by their contempt for the UN flag, was expressed many years ago by C.S. Lewis:

“If you dip into any college, or school, or parish or family--anything you like--at a given point in its history, you always find that there was a time before that point when there was more elbow room and contrasts weren't quite so sharp; and that there's going to be a time after that point when there is even less room for indecision and choices are even more momentous. Good is always getting better, and bad is always getting worse: the possibilities of even apparent neutrality are always diminishing. The whole thing is sorting itself out all the time, coming to a point, getting sharper and harder.”

More "elbow room" refers to times in which a culture no longer stands for anything because it has lost its historic moorings and values. Such a generation cannot understand the principles which motivated the heroism and discernment of an earlier generation. It becomes easy to mistake their principled stand with arrogance. Arrogance is usually understood as a refusal to negotiate. Compromised generations are experts in the art of negotiation. Unfortunately, such a generation becomes an easily manipulated one. It always can be expected to "deal" and most options are predictable. After all, "everyone has his price."

As a result, any would-be tyrant has plenty of "elbow room" to maneuver the negotiable affections of a people, especially if authority and media are on his side. So, like a leopard poised on the limb of the tree, he waits for some succulent but naive lunch to come wandering by. In other words, people usually do not see the true nature of tyranny as it takes advantage of the moral, economic or political crisis which gives opportunistic Hitlers leverage to transform crisis into control. Remember, Hitler first deceived a brilliant people before he could control them. Then again, the primary purpose of deceit is control, i.e., to create a monopoly of interpretation surrounding any given issue.

The only thing which would tend to scramble the plans of such clever Machiavellian operators is a contrary position which combines virtue, knowledge, trust, authority, and access to the people on a regular basis. Enter the church of Christ and its clergy.

We live in an era where we are tempted to believe that everything and everyone have "some" good points . . . and therefore, instead of cleaving the good from the evil, we blur the distinctions between them in a vain attempt to "redeem" them. But if C.S. Lewis was correct, things will get sharper and harder and there will be no more "middle ground". In burning the UN flag, those pastors and veterans were clearly making their point. The UN is irredeemable and worthy of being openly exposed as, quite spiritually, the satanic fraud it really is. Here's why.

The UN Coven

During the 60's and 70's, many individuals in our decaying western society sought the "enlightenment," "truth," and "wisdom" of the East. Gurus, swamis, yogis, and other "illuminated masters" attracted a large western following. These pilgrims were following in the footsteps of the person who is regarded, today, as the high priestess of the New Age movement--Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891). [1]

As the founder of the Theosophical Society, Blavatsky taught esoteric "wisdom," the unity of all religions, and the universal brotherhood of mankind. However, she added yet another dimension to her emphasis. To quote her very exactly, "Esoteric philosophy has never rejected God in Nature . . ." Neither have her adherents. Taking their cue from eastern and theosophical mysticism, the "Gaian world view" believes the earth itself to be a deity which all people must honor and worship. [2]

According to the Global Ethic document, unveiled at the 1993 Parliament of World Religions, all families, communities, races, nations, and religions will be conformed to "an alternative framework for religion to which people will be held accountable." Of course, this Parliament was formed as a result of the January 25, 1993 assembly at the "Peace Altar" of the UN's Temple of Understanding. The overriding purpose of all of this activity was to promote a new global ethic . . . based on the Gaia principle. [3]

It should be noted that, from an historic Christian perspective, this activity is nothing less than what the prophets of old referred as "idolatry." Biblically, idolatry was not condemned because of its primitive looking, crudely cut figurines before which people senselessly bowed. Idols were (and are) the creation of the imagination of man. Ignoring the Law of God and its directives for an healthy and clean way of life, such idols represent "life" as some believe it should be. Their newly created "god(dess)" is fashioned from their imagination and is used to attract adherents. However, in commenting upon this historic development, St. Paul makes an interesting point:

“Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles . . . Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. ”

- Romans 1:22,23,28-29

The point here is obvious. Idolatry always creates ethical standards which are biblically lawless. Such laws of men supplant the Law of God. Invariably, like Ahab and Jezebel of old, it forces its standards of ethics upon the masses in the name of its "god" and uses the state to assure the people that no contrary values can be tolerated "for the good of all." As Dr. Norman Myers (advisor to the World Bank and Rockefeller Brothers Fund) put it so well, "Creation of such ethic is no side issue; it is recognized as an imperative by world institutions." [4] The state then is given its "divine sanction" to regulate the masses and tyranny is legitimized. Thus, idolatry is invariably linked to collectivism (socialism). For these reasons, the prophets of old inveighed against the idolatry of the nations surrounding them.

No surprises then when public calls are made for the enforced removal from their churches of those clergymen who, perhaps through theological debate or condemnation of sin, "stir up prejudice, hatred, and enmity towards those of different belief . . ." All this in the context of UN global responsibility. [5]

Of course, occultic hatred for the God of Scripture also seems to manifest itself in its own version of esoteric "toleration." Madame Blavatsky sounded a key theme when she wrote:

“The appellation Satan . . . belongs by right to the first and cruelest "Adversary" of all other Gods--Jehovah; not to the serpent which spoke only words of sympathy and wisdom.” [6]

Elsewhere she wrote:

“Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, is the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind. For it is he . . . who opened the eyes of the automaton (Adam) created by Jehovah . . . An adversary to Jehovah . . . he still remains in Esoteric Truth the ever loving messenger . . . who conferred on us spiritual instead of physical immortality.” [7]

Is this luciferian promise of immortality the real reason the world's wealthy and powerful are so willing to betray their native peoples? This question is especially bothersome in light of the fact that such leaders among the world's elite know that this battle is transgenerational and that they would never see a victory in their lifetime. Many come from families who have engaged in such activity for generations. [Bush, Delano, Harriman, Rockefeller, Rothschild, etc. Check out the names who belong to Skull and Bones and the other secret societies.] One can only wonder.

Updating the praises of Lucifer in this century are such entities as the Lindisfarne Center located at Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan. Its work is made possible by "grants from . . . the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Rockefeller Foundation." (There's that name again. Funny, how often the name "Rockefeller" shows up.) Lindisfarne luciferian faculty member and New Age, New World Order guru David Spangler has much to contribute to the new global religious sentiment. On page 41 of his Reflections on the Christ, he writes in the ongoing tradition of Madam Blavatsky:

“Lucifer, like Christ, stands at the door of man's consciousness and knocks . . . He becomes the being who carries that great treat, the ultimate treat, the light of wisdom.” [8]

Apparently, everything is tolerable, including the ever infamous "Evil One" . . . except the Lord of Scripture and His Holy Law for mankind. Funny, even Satan is a negotiable point in such a compromised generation.

St. Paul had it right when he asserted that the deadliest enemy with which the church of Christ must contend does not necessarily manifest itself in the witches' coven down the street but, rather, in a much more sophisticated "coven." "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil . . . " (Eph. 6:12).

According to Paul, though government is, in itself, an ordained work of God, Satan seeks and quite often obtains influence and even control over authorities in order to effectively exercise a perverse dominion over the affairs of men and nations. How else better to gain sway over the hearts of men than through fear and terror? Under such conditions, biblical writers identified usurped governmental authority as predatory and labeled it "beast." Like their master, they roam about as roaring lions seeking whom they may devour. Biblical writers, however, added yet another bit of biblical counsel, "Resist steadfastly."

"Believing Anything" . . . and Applying It

G.K. Chesterton once observed, "If man will not believe in God, the danger is not that he will believe in nothing, but that he will believe in anything." "Anything" seems to be in vogue around the UN. The UN and its supporting cast worldwide are permeated with such ancient idolatrous religion or outright Luciferian expression. Remember, however, the key is ETHICS - what man is compelled to believe and how he must obey. Unfortunately, the new global government is only too happy to lead the way.

In June 1992, the UN Earth Summit took place in Brazil. There, the United Nations Conference on Environmental and Developmental (UNCED) program cooperated with Global Forum to feature an ecumenical melding of aboriginal ceremonies where worshippers danced all night in homage to the "Female Planet" and offered flowers and fruits to the "mother of powers." [9] Of course, all of this is designed to highlight the need to save our "mother" earth from the exploitation of the environmental "rape" of our resources. False religion is a great guilt-manipulator. Once guilt is created in the minds of individuals and left there to mature, the first product it creates in the heart is bitterness from a sense of "violated justice." From there the poisonous fruits of wrath and an envy mentality develop. Envy is that perverse function of the human spirit which not only covets what another has but secretly delights when the object of its envy-- be it a person or a whole nation--loses what it owns.

Guilt-manipulation was glaringly evident at the Rio Conference, when Fidel Castro drew the greatest applause (according to the New York Times) in proceeding to denounce the industrialized nations as guilty for most of the world's environmental problems. The solution? Redistribution of the wealth of the West to the rest of the globe through U.S. taxpayer guaranteed loans from the World Bank, a world (UN) progressive income tax upon the people of the United States, and greater financial burdens to be borne by this country because of our greater use ("rape") of natural resources. Such treaties as the UN Biodiversity Treaty, if passed by our Senate, will allow for an international tribunal to pass regulations affecting every business. It will allow for an international eco-police to sanction all regulations. It will allow for our people to be sued in world court by other nations for environmental claims. It will provide "reparations" payments from the U.S. to the rest of the world to the tune of several HUNDRED billions of your tax dollars.

Has it hit home yet? All of these payments flow from the U.S. to the rest of the (socialistically bankrupt) world through the controlling hands of the UN. Using guilt-manipulation and religious sentiment, redistribution of the wealth is taking place. . . "taking from the haves and giving to the have-nots." In his wildest dreams, Marx couldn't have imagined a heist on as massive a scale for the redistribution of wealth as this one.

"Falling for anything" includes the UN prescription for your family's future, especially your children. Globalist thinker Jose Lutzenberger, formerly the Brazilian Minster of the Environment, is on record as decrying the historic foundation of western civilization's Judeo-Christian ethic. In his words, education of our children thus based must be changed so that, instead of the Christian "philosophy of an evil world which needs to be subdued by man," educational institutions must "teach our children to dialogue with their world" (multiculturalist training through the new educational reform movement--dubbed in this country as OBE reform). However, he and other globalist thinkers see a necessity in learning from indigenous people how to "successfully integrate our species into the entire symphony of nature." Such religious romanticizing of primitive, native worship and life-styles is more and more showing itself through UN globalist support groups. [10] The point of all of this is simple. Education must be given a new foundation to replace the historic one provided by Christianity. Again, Jehovah is out, and "anything" else is negotiable.

The UN is being used to provide a new ETHICAL foundation for all of life and world view. A new worldwide servitude is well underway. But because man is a religious being first and foremost, man must first be provided with a religious foundation from which the new ethic will be created . . . and enforced by the regulations, police and "peace-keeping" troops of the United Nations New World Order.
